Tomson & Company is an auditing and consulting firm registered in 2008, but started operating in 2015. The founding partner CPA Thomson Kwizina has a long and wide experience having worked at senior levels with Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants, Pricewaterhousecoopers, Deloitte & Touché and Mungereza & Kariisa Certified Public Accountants over a period of 25 years. Until December 2015, he was a partner with Mungereza & Kariisa Certified Public Accountants for 5 years before he started his own practicing as Tomson & Company Limited.

Thomson is the Managing Partner of Tomson & Company a consulting and audit firm he started in 2016. He has over 25 years of experience in serving a diverse clientele in East Africa ranging from manufacturing/service companies, financial institutions, non-governmental organisation/projects, local governments, educational and religious institutions. He has done a lot of work in East African Region, (Uganda, Rwanda & Burundi) and also outside East Africa (Ethiopia & Germany). Thomson started his career with Coopers & Lybrand Chartered accountants in 1990 as an audit trainee. This firm later merged with Pricewaterhouse globally and became PricewaterhouseCoopers.
